An eccentric documentary crew tracks the journeys of five amateur runners as they prepare for the quirky Devil's Canyon Marathon. Organized by Ed Clap, a determined shoe store owner eager to make the event memorable for its fifteenth anniversary, this offbeat race takes place in the harsh desert landscape. As the runners navigate their personal challenges and the demanding training regimen, the film captures both the humor and heart found in their pursuit of greatness amidst the chaos of an unconventional marathon.
