In June 1944, as World War II wreaks havoc across Europe, a young post office worker named Maureen Flavin finds herself at the center of a pivotal moment in history. Stationed in Blacksod, County Mayo—Europe's westernmost point—she provides critical weather readings that will determine the timing of Operation Overlord on D-Day. Far removed from the chaos of war, Maureen's observations hold the key to a successful invasion, showcasing how one young girl's role can influence the course of history in such turbulent times.
