After completing his novel in isolation, a writer returns to Hollywood, grappling with the pain of his girlfriend's suicide and harsh feedback from his publisher. As he settles back into urban life, he becomes fascinated by the tumultuous relationship of a neighboring couple, whose volatile dynamics draw him in. This obsession blurs the lines between reality and fiction, forcing him to confront his own demons while navigating the dark undercurrents of love and pain in a city that mirrors his troubled soul.
