John Brant, wrongfully convicted of murder, makes a daring escape and finds refuge in the Wild West. After evading local law enforcement, he unwittingly aligns himself with a gang of outlaws. As he bonds with a fellow outlaw named Jones, Brant learns that Jones is the true culprit behind the crime for which he was imprisoned, oblivious to the fact that Brant is innocent.
