The Little Traitor

Set in 1947 Palestine, just prior to the establishment of Israel, a young boy named Proffy Liebowitz grapples with the complexities of occupation. At eleven, he embodies both youthful defiance and sensitivity, fervently wishing for the British forces to leave his homeland. Based on Amos Oz's acclaimed novel "Panther in the Basement," the story explores Proffy's inner turmoil and the external conflicts of a nation on the brink of change, blending personal growth with the broader struggle for identity and freedom in a tumultuous historical context.
