Tess, a newcomer to a tranquil town, struggles with her psychosis while trying to adapt to life with her mother. Her world spirals when she discovers a shrine dedicated to Lucy, a victim of a hit-and-run, igniting haunting visions of the deceased girl. As Lucy's spirit invades Tess's mind, both mother and daughter grapple with their options for help, torn between faith and medical intervention. Their search for answers leads them to Sarah, Lucy's grieving mother. With time running out, Tess faces a crucial choice: to battle her inner demons or surrender to the darkness.
