"Programming the Nation?" provides a comprehensive exploration of subliminal messaging's impact throughout American history. Experts suggest that since the late 1950s, subliminal techniques have been tested across various media platforms, with notable Hollywood figures like Alfred Hitchcock and William Friedkin involved.
