Shaolin Dolemite creatively reimagines the 1986 Taiwanese kung fu classic Ren zhe da, originally edited down from a sprawling ten hours of footage. This unique project incorporates previously unreleased scenes alongside fresh content featuring Rudy Ray Moore. Viewers witness Moore's humorous commentary as he engages with the film's narrative, peppering it with colorful language. Additionally, the film introduces his longtime friend Jimmy Lynch, who portrays a Drunken Master character named Sam the Spliff. This blend of old and new elements offers a quirky, entertaining experience for fans of martial arts cinema.
