In "Bob Roberts," wealthy conservative Bob Roberts embarks on a rebellious political campaign to unseat the sitting senator, Brickley Paiste. Captivating audiences at his rallies, Roberts employs a unique approach by performing '60s-inspired acoustic folk songs that convey his far-right social and economic beliefs. His charismatic performances energize supporters and challenge the status quo, turning his campaign into a spectacle that blurs the lines between entertainment and politics. As the election draws near, Roberts' unconventional methods raise questions about the influence of celebrity in the political arena.
