Lizzy, a resilient frontierswoman, makes her home in a harsh, isolated expanse of the 19th-century American frontier. Cut off from society in a desolate landscape filled with the relentless howl of the wind, she starts experiencing an unsettling, malevolent force that seems to emanate from the very land. The arrival of a newlywed couple at a nearby homestead only intensifies her growing paranoia, leading to a chilling sequence of events that will test her courage and survival instincts in the face of the unknown.
