The Return of Godzilla

A fishing vessel meets a grim fate when a resurrected Godzilla emerges, leaving only one crew member alive to recount the horror. As the news of the creature's return spreads, the Japanese government attempts to cover it up, fearing international backlash amid escalating Cold War tensions with the United States and the Soviet Union. Both superpowers threaten to unleash nuclear force on Japan as a drastic measure to eliminate the monstrous threat, intensifying the race against time to confront Godzilla before global conflict erupts.
