Peppino Impastato, a clever young man in 1970s Sicily, rebels against his Mafia-connected family and the oppressive influence of local crime boss Tano Badalamenti, whose home is just a stone's throw away. Embracing his passion for free speech, Peppino launches a pirate radio station, using sharp wit and ironic humor to challenge the Mafia's grip on his community. His bold broadcasts not only shed light on the corruption around him but also ignite a spirit of resistance among those who dare to listen.
