Carlos DeLuna was just 21 when he was convicted for the 1993 murder of Wanda Lopez. Throughout his time on death row, he maintained his innocence, insisting that another man named Carlos was the true perpetrator. Despite his pleas and the lack of concrete evidence linking him to the crime, he faced execution, leaving behind a haunting narrative of a flawed justice system and the tragic consequences of a wrongful conviction. This story sheds light on the complexities of guilt and the search for truth in the shadow of capital punishment.
