American Circumcision

American Circumcision explores the controversial practice of infant circumcision in the United States, where it remains the only industrialized nation to routinely perform this procedure for non-religious reasons. The documentary delves into the historical, cultural, and medical justifications behind this widespread surgery, questioning why it persists despite a growing global trend against it. Through interviews with experts and personal accounts, the film challenges viewers to consider the implications of this practice on infant rights and bodily autonomy, sparking a critical conversation about tradition versus contemporary ethics.
