Audrey Benac (Deragh Campbell) steps into the role of literary executor and stumbles upon a trove of letters penned by her great-grandmother. These intimate exchanges between Zofia Bohdanowiczowa and poet Jozef Wittlin document their lives as Polish exiles from 1957 to 1964, spanning Toronto, Wales, and New York City. Over a transformative three-day trip to Houghton Library at Harvard University, Audrey delves into translating Zofia’s poignant messages, seeking to uncover the depths of their shared experiences and the rich history encapsulated within the letters.
