Simon Birch and Joe Wenteworth stand out as misfits in their small town. Joe, raised by his secretive mother Rebecca, grapples with the absence of his father, while Simon, an 11-year-old dwarf, compensates for his height with a vibrant spirit and sharp wit. With a knack for challenging the local reverend's beliefs, Simon teams up with Joe on an emotional journey to uncover the truth about Joe’s father. Together, they navigate the complexities of friendship and identity, forging a bond that transcends their differences.
