Debt and joblessness weigh heavily on Maggie as she navigates a harsh reality in her quest for survival. With her dreams of a nursing career dashed, she enters The Program, which offers a glimmer of financial relief through a short-term work commitment. However, Maggie soon realizes that the distinction between liberation and enslavement is perilously thin within the work camps. Zara Jestadt shines in a powerful role, delivering a compelling performance in this poignant cautionary tale that explores the bleak consequences of social inequality and the erosion of human rights.
