Ken Kesey, celebrated for “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” embarks on an iconic journey in 1964 aboard the psychedelic Magic Bus. Accompanied by the Merry Pranksters—a lively collective of counterculture adventurers—he sets out on an LSD-infused road trip to the New York World’s Fair. Among his eclectic crew is Neal Cassady, the legendary figure from Kerouac’s “On the Road,” who drives the bus and contributes his artistic flair. This vibrant documentary captures the spirit of a transformative era and the quest for a deeper understanding of life and freedom.
