Anders, once a celebrated author, faces the harsh realities of life when his literary career crumbles. Stripped of his former identity, he finds himself at the bottom of the social ladder, taking on grueling labor in Malmö's harbor, at a place known as 'The Yard.' This poignant adaptation of Kristian Lundberg's novel explores themes of resilience and reinvention, as Anders navigates his new existence amidst the struggles of the working class, challenging the notion of success and the value of human dignity in a rapidly changing world.
