Cry of the Wild

Bill Mason showcases his deep admiration for northern timber and Arctic wolves in this captivating documentary. Over three years, he traverses the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, the High Arctic, and his home in Quebec to challenge the stereotype of wolves as vicious predators. By relocating three young wolves to his property, Mason captures intimate moments of their lives, including tribal behaviors, mating rituals, and the birth of pups—extraordinary wildlife events that had never been documented on film before. His work offers a profound insight into the lives of these majestic creatures.
