“All-Stars” offers a comedic take on the absurdities surrounding youth sports, focusing on the overzealous parents who project their own dreams onto their children. Much like "Best in Show," the spotlight falls more on the adults—parents, coaches, umpires, and volunteers—than on the young athletes themselves. Through a humorous lens, the film explores the chaotic world of fast pitch softball, highlighting the outrageous behaviors of a few over-the-top parents. The result is an entertaining yet insightful look at the lengths some will go to in pursuit of victory for their kids.
