Recently widowed, Leann finds herself and her 17-year-old daughter, Julina, living in a secluded polygamous community. Struggling to adapt, Julina discovers a kindred spirit in Ryder, the son of the compound's influential leader, Prophet Ervil. As their connection deepens, the two navigate the complexities of their environment, challenging the oppressive norms surrounding them. Julina's burgeoning independence clashes with the strict beliefs of the compound, setting the stage for a tense battle between personal freedom and rigid tradition.
