Cheng, a 45-year-old restaurant owner from China, embarks on a journey to a secluded Finnish village with his young son, seeking solace after the recent loss of his wife. Their destination is an old friend’s farm, nestled amidst vast forests and countless lakes. This remote corner of Finland starkly contrasts with bustling Shanghai, where the population exceeds Cheng's hometown by five times. As they explore this tranquil landscape, the duo navigates grief and healing, finding unexpected connections in an unfamiliar world.
