Ralph Steadman takes center stage in this imaginative exploration narrated by Johnny Depp. The film defies traditional storytelling, weaving together interviews and animated sequences that breathe life into Steadman's iconic illustrations, including those from Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." With contributions from Richard E. Grant, Terry Gilliam, and Bruce Robinson, alongside a vibrant soundtrack featuring artists like Slash and Jason Mraz, the documentary offers a heartfelt and humorous reflection on creativity, friendship, and the fading echoes of 20th-century counterculture, positioning Steadman as a poignant figure in the Gonzo legacy.
