An American wanderer arrives on a secluded Polynesian island, where a strict missionary has enforced a rigid social order. His carefree attitude and unconventional ways disrupt the island's tranquil yet oppressive atmosphere, challenging the community's norms. As he interacts with the locals, the drifter's presence ignites tensions and sparks a clash between tradition and freedom. The idyllic paradise becomes a battleground for contrasting beliefs, forcing the inhabitants to confront their values and desires as they navigate the complexities of life under the watchful eye of the missionary.
