Norfolk Island, located 800 miles from Australia, hosts an astonishing population of massive tiger sharks that some liken to a drive-thru for these predators. Intrigued by this phenomenon, a team of shark biologists—Lauren Meyers, Charlie Huveneers, and Adam Barnett—embarks on an unprecedented mission to uncover the reasons behind the sharks' abundance. By enticing these colossal creatures to their vessel, the scientists uncover unexpected insights, unraveling the mysteries of the island's unique ecosystem and the tigers that inhabit it. Their findings could reshape our understanding of these formidable ocean dwellers.
