Set against the backdrop of Nazi-occupied Paris in 1942, Robert Klein is a prosperous art dealer thriving amidst the chaos and suffering of the oppressed. His life takes a perilous turn when he uncovers the existence of another man sharing his name, a Jewish individual who could easily be mistaken for him. This unsettling revelation places Klein in a precarious position, as the dangers of identity and persecution loom large in such a hostile environment. The film explores themes of survival, complicity, and the moral dilemmas faced during one of history's darkest chapters.
