Stranded in a quaint New England town after a motorcycle crash, Sam seeks shelter in a dilapidated motel run by the equally disillusioned Kate. His arrival sparks curiosity, particularly when it’s revealed that his estranged daughter, Audrey, lives nearby—someone he hasn't seen in 25 years. As Sam attempts to reconnect with the woman she has become, he grapples with his own struggles with emotional intimacy. Ultimately, his journey of reconciliation may hinge on forming a bond with another kindred spirit, both seeking solace in their shared loneliness.
