Set in post-reunification Germany, societal chaos reigns as xenophobia escalates. A dedicated social worker tasked with escorting a Polish family to an immigration camp in the provincial town of Rassau finds herself kidnapped alongside them. Chief Inspector Koern and his girlfriend delve into the investigation, uncovering a disturbing underbelly of obsessive sexuality, misguided desires, and an irrational love for the German nation. The film explores how racism permeates everyday life, revealing that it often lurks within the heart of society rather than being confined to overt symbols like shaved heads and combat boots.
