Charming, relentless, and overflowing with drive, Roberto “Bob” Bissonnette lived entirely on his own terms. He captained the Hull Olympics and racked up a reputation as the QMJHL’s tenth most penalized player, then pivoted to music, where his electrifying performances drew devoted fans across Quebec, French Canada, and Europe. His sudden death in a helicopter crash at just 35 sent shockwaves through everyone who knew his name.
