Captain Balram Singh Mehta, a member of India’s 45 Cavalry regiment, embarks on a transformative journey during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Alongside his siblings, he faces challenges on the eastern front, fighting for the liberation of Bangladesh. The title references the Russian amphibious tank “PT-76,” symbolizing resilience as it floats like an empty tin of ghee. Through his experiences on the battlefield, Mehta not only seeks to prove his worth but also matures into a leader, navigating the complexities of warfare and brotherhood.
