Set in Massachusetts during 1892, Lizzie is a poignant tale of repression and rebellion. At 32, Lizzie is an unmarried social outcast, trapped in a stifling existence under her father's harsh rule. The arrival of Bridget Sullivan, a youthful maid, introduces a glimmer of hope; the two women quickly form a deep bond. As their connection deepens, they plot a dark and twisted scheme that could change their lives forever, challenging the constraints imposed on them by society and family.
