During the 1950s, the Soviet regime targets the Greek-Catholic church, imprisoning its leaders in Sighet prison. With only the Orthodox church permitted, these men face brutal torture and a grim choice: convert or perish. Bishop Iuliu Hossu emerges as a beacon of hope, confronting their tormentors with unwavering courage. His resilience and dignity inspire fellow priests to stand firm against oppression, igniting a spirit of defiance amid unimaginable suffering. The struggle for faith and survival unfolds in this poignant depiction of bravery in the face of tyranny.
