Sung-geun, a struggling actor relegated to minor parts, unexpectedly lands the role of Kim Il-sung for a rehearsal tied to the South-North Korea Summit. Inspired by his son's admiration, he dives deeply into the character, becoming increasingly consumed by the performance. As the summit fails to materialize, Sung-geun's immersion blurs the lines between reality and fiction, leading him to believe he embodies the former North Korean leader. This poignant exploration of identity and ambition highlights the fine line between aspiration and delusion in the pursuit of validation.
