Twelfth Night weaves a comedic yet poignant narrative centered on unrequited love and mistaken identities. Following a shipwreck, twins Viola and Sebastian are separated, each navigating the whims of a foreign land. Viola secretly loves Orsino, who pines for Olivia, who, in turn, becomes enamored with Viola. Malvolio, Olivia’s steward, complicates matters further with his own affections. Directed by Christopher Luscombe, known for his acclaimed productions of Love’s Labour’s Lost and Much Ado About Nothing, this Royal Shakespeare Company rendition captures the essence of Shakespeare’s enchanting exploration of love's complexities.
