A satirical mockumentary showcases five self-important, overcompensated ex-Manchester United players who are burdened by their own prejudices—homophobia and racism among them. Set against the backdrop of the 2010 World Cup, these former athletes find themselves grappling with their missed opportunity for redemption. As they navigate the fallout from their pasts, their comical arrogance and delusions of grandeur come to the forefront, revealing a poignant yet humorous tale of failure and the struggle for personal growth. The film cleverly critiques both the sport and the egos of those who played it.
