Francesco

The story of St. Francis of Assisi unfolds through the memories shared by his devoted followers after his passing. They recount his transformation from a wealthy, spirited youth to a captive in war, ultimately renouncing his affluent lineage to embrace a life of humility and charity. This narrative highlights his role as a beggar for the needy and a guiding light for those who are inspired to live according to the principles of the Gospels, emphasizing poverty and selflessness. Leone, tasked with recording these tales, captures the essence of a true spiritual leader.
