Control Room offers an insightful look into the global perspective on the Iraq War through the lens of Al Jazeera, the leading news network in the Arab world. Facing backlash from U.S. officials and military leaders for its perceived pro-Iraqi stance, the outlet has been criticized for showcasing civilian casualties and footage of American prisoners of war. By highlighting these often overlooked aspects, Al Jazeera presents a narrative that challenges the Bush administration's portrayal of the conflict, exposing the complexities and harsh realities of war that many in the West may prefer to ignore.
