Professor Richard Davidson embarks on an innovative experiment, aiming to teach meditation and yoga to American war veterans and children. His goal is to explore whether these practices can alleviate the veterans' physical and emotional pain, helping them reconnect with a sense of happiness and tranquility reminiscent of their pre-war lives. Through this journey, Davidson seeks to uncover the potential of mindfulness to heal trauma and restore peace in the lives of those affected by conflict and adversity.
