In the UK, a talented ensemble of Ukrainian refugee actors gears up to debut their latest production during Liverpool's 'Eurovision Festival.' The play, 'Maria,' chronicles a woman's life against the backdrop of the devastating Soviet-induced famine of the 1930s that claimed millions of lives. This poignant documentary captures the month-long journey of rehearsals and performances, showcasing not only the creative process in their new surroundings but also the cast's personal tales of grief and resilience, each a testament to their strength as they navigate their new reality far from home.
