At a close-knit African American church, Pastor Rob faces a heart-wrenching crisis as his wife battles cancer. Struggling with mounting medical bills, he resorts to desperate measures, siphoning funds from the businesses of his congregation. As his moral compass falters, the community grapples with the ethical implications of his actions. Torn between loyalty and justice, church members must confront their own values while supporting their pastor in a time of crisis. "Trying Grace" explores the delicate balance between faith, love, and the complexities of human desperation.
