Set in a near-future Japan, Plan 75 presents a controversial government initiative promoting voluntary euthanasia for the elderly amidst a rapidly aging population. The narrative intertwines the lives of an aging woman struggling to find purpose, a pragmatic salesman advocating for the program, and a young Filipino worker caught in the moral complexities of their choices. As each character grapples with the implications of life and death, the film explores the profound societal pressures and personal dilemmas that arise in a world where age is seen as a burden.
