Between 1997 and 2006, Ronald Dominique terrorized impoverished Southeastern Louisiana, committing horrific acts against twenty-three men. The challenges faced in capturing him were manifold, stemming from underfunded police resources, minimal support from victims' families, and the overwhelming focus on disasters like Hurricane Katrina. Bayou Blue delves into the disintegration of this community, exploring the societal neglect that allowed such atrocities to flourish. Through a haunting lens, it reflects on the struggles of those impacted by violence, shining a light on the darker aspects of human nature and societal failure.
