In "My Father the Hero," a young girl vacationing in the Bahamas with her divorced dad concocts a wild story to impress a boy she likes, claiming that her father is, in fact, her romantic partner. This humorous and awkward situation spirals as her fib complicates interactions and leads to a series of misunderstandings. The film is a remake of the 1991 French classic "Mon père, ce héros," exploring the challenges of teenage relationships and the dynamic between a father and daughter during a sun-soaked getaway.
