A passionate love triangle unfolds as a groundbreaking female writer grapples with her feelings for two men: her husband, a retired military officer, and Moritz Rugendas, a painter with whom she shares a deep, decade-long correspondence. While their letters reveal profound emotions and artistic connections, personal interactions remain scarce, intensifying the tension between her commitments and desires. As she navigates her complex relationships, the writer must confront the realities of love, art, and the sacrifices that come with pursuing both.
