Adaptation.

In "Adaptation," Charlie Kaufman, a troubled screenwriter in Los Angeles, grapples with insecurities and inner turmoil while facing the overshadowing presence of his carefree twin brother, Donald. As he attempts to adapt Susan Orlean's "The Orchid Thief," his reality spirals into a surreal blend of self-doubt and creativity. The narrative weaves together Kaufman's chaotic existence with themes from Orlean's work, revealing how their quests for meaning and inspiration intersect in unexpected ways, leading to a journey that blurs the lines between fiction and reality.
