Grigory, the pampered heir to a wealthy oligarch, lives under the delusion that he is untouchable until a run-in with the law threatens his freedom. In a bid to transform his reckless son, his father orchestrates an unusual form of rehabilitation: a complete reconstruction of a 19th-century village. Thrust into this bygone era, Grigory experiences life as a serf, where hard work and humility challenge his entitled mindset. As he navigates this new reality, he learns valuable lessons about life, responsibility, and the true meaning of success.
