Sycorax

Sycorax, the enigmatic figure from Shakespeare's "Tempest," emerges as a central character in this reimagining, exploring her untold story. Initially introduced as a wicked sorceress who imprisoned Ariel, the air spirit, her motivations and complexities are brought to light. Instead of accepting Prospero's portrayal of her as purely malevolent, the narrative invites viewers to question his perspective and understand Sycorax's silence. Through her journey, the film delves into themes of power, isolation, and the struggle for voice, challenging conventional interpretations of this mysterious character from the classic play.
