Through a series of poignant interviews, former students of the I.L. Perec school in Łódź, Poland, reflect on their experiences in the aftermath of World War II. These individuals, now living across the globe, share their stories of resilience and loss following the anti-Semitic purges of 1968 that uprooted their lives. As they recount their childhood memories and the lasting impact of their education, the film provides a powerful exploration of identity, heritage, and the indelible scars left by history, underscoring the importance of remembering their shared past.
