After three decades of marriage, a couple, played by Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones, finds themselves at a crossroads. Seeking to reignite the spark in their relationship, they embark on a transformative week-long counseling retreat in a small Maine town. Guided by a no-nonsense therapist, they confront deep-seated issues and unearth buried feelings. As they navigate the challenges of intimacy and vulnerability, both must decide if their love can evolve or if it has run its course. The journey is both humorous and poignant, exploring the complexities of long-term partnerships.
